A stronger downtown can increase economic activity, create jobs, encourage investment, and make Suffern a destination for residents and visitors. Suffern’s existing transportation connections and historic downtown provide a strong foundation for continued revitalization.

Our community deserves safe, lawful, and fairly managed housing. This initiative calls for concerns about potentially illegal housing practices in Suffern Village to be properly documented, investigated, and addressed by the appropriate authorities.

We support enforcement of applicable housing, zoning, building, occupancy, and tenant-protection requirements, while ensuring that residents and property owners are treated fairly and have access to due process. The goal is transparency, accountability, safe housing conditions, and compliance with the law.
